Wrap A Quilt, Wrap My Linens Too!

G'mornin:) I am well aware that many of you will be shaking your head with this totally OCD-ism, but I want to share it anyway! I havent quite gotten the hang of this new photo placement, so bare with me on that K? With that said............ Messy cupboards piss me off. There, I said it. When I want to set a table, dress a sideboard, or make ready for incoming guests, I must WHIRL things around until I find what I'm looking for! With the last move I even drasticaly reduced the inventory giving linens to my daughter to DEAL with. Anyone else need some too? Steph? Julie? I gots lots! I found that if I buy the same color of sheet sets, when I go to make a bed, pulling out the WRONG size, I have a whole heffer trying to find the correct sets!
Problem: Ineffeicent messy linen storage
Solution: Quilt Like wrapping!
I may not be the original idea woman on this,(although I could be?) but it was a lightbulb moment for me.
For my girls rolling your eyes: I am NOT Bossy, I just have better ideas.
Stay with me, you will thank me when I'm gone.
Pictured below are now sheet sets wrapped in one of 4 matching pillow cases (after you get past the messy closet) and marked for which bed it belongs on. When company comes, or I change my own bedding, voila! Pull down a nicely wrapped package! Fresh out of the laundry, fold, pack up, mark, & put away.....a cinch! Again, I KNOW you will say that you dont have time, but believe me, it takes more time to REfold, whirl linens around, and get pissy! Today, I am going to do the same thing with all table linens!
:::Things that get done while not quilting eh?:::
I think THIS move is really messing with me. ( no pun intended) I have the urge to purge, if not organize. I plan on a HUGE Tag sale soon. I mean really, how many linens does one need? I have/had enough cloth napkins to feed a small country! All bedroom closets were full, all linen closets, and many boxes to go! And BTW, same goes for Vases, dishes, kitchen gadgets, pitchers, candlesticks, cookware, OMG!
I think I have a home goods fetish as ridiculous as my shoes!
Like I said, I just wanted to share this little helpful hint while enjoying the morning coffee and sunshine. Its nice out here today.. I'm getting some much needed Vitamin D. Now I need a good laugh, and I'll call myself Healthy today! Have a good day.. I'm off to organize something!

Waking Sleepy Thoughts

Everyone can relax. I found my quilt maker:) ::Sigh::: Now if only I could find Moms recipe for Walnut Herb salad I would be thrilled. I have now torn this house apart for about a handful of missing items. I REALLY loathe moving. Think I need to CLIC, yes CLIC.
Whats doing for this Wednesday with you? I will be working in the shop on a custom Batik. I hope. SHOUT OUT to Ronda who just won BIG for her Darwins Diamonds quilt, I am so very proud of her! I miss her. shoot... CLIC
I have been collecting my UFO;s. Wow... I have more than ever before now. Like I said, 2 years running, Sybil`s all over the map. The one that pains me the most is the nickel quilt I began with regard to my James. You may remember talking to him in pen, on fabric.. Now I have a bazillion gut wrenching nickels to place, sew, quilt. I may just box that one up and be buried with it. Hmmmmmm
I have 4 count them 4 grand baby quilts I have never gotten quilted! BAD Nonni! Whats wrong with me?Maybe I need some inspiration. Maybe I need some anti-depressants? Maybe just a hug, ya never know with me eh.
brb, more java needed.........
So Las Vegas is soon for Dear Daughter & pal, then my turn, minus John Mayer! Grunt. I hope she is careful and keeps her wits about her. We really should have planned this out better..lol. I cant wait to see Blima! ( and Mike) We are already making up codes to sneak away from the men and chit chat in real time. We may not need the codes because we just realized that our hotel has a BARE POOL, and the men just might be gone themselves! So did LV get bored with million dollar fountains and decide to build a nudy pool? I mean topless pool? It is very sovinistict (sp chk) that entry to the Bare Pool is FREE for all women, and the men are charged 25-40 bucks. Come onnnnnnnn
Hey! Enough yakking! I need to get to my lists!
Have a good humpday, pray that mine is focussed and productive K?

Tickled On A Tuesday

Today is the first day I am actually feeling excited about our Spring break trip to Las Vegas! Yep yep yep... its almost been an impending doom until now. Im not sure what changed, but I think it may have something to do with a helping hand.
We will be off to see Blima and Mike for a whopping 4 days. ( I think I mentioned this before) I have a dog sitter, bird sitter, house sitter, and we are driving, NOT flying! YIKES. We have front row seats in 4 shows that Blima and I have been longing to see. Jersy Boyz, Lion King, Love, Terri Factor.
We will even be dining with a foodie friend on one night! Walt & Mike Im sure will be delighted at the Morrocan restaurant to watch all the belly dancers. grunt. Blima has been in charge of dining, so I know that will be a treat as well. Im looking forward to the pool time just to relax ( note to self, get a new quilt book to bring along). I have made a tight budget to gamble with, but that wont work long cause me & that Wheel of Fortune have a date to WIN WIN WIN. Then............ look out world. I have an additional list of spending to be done! lol One of them is a new sewing machine! MAN this Elna is making me mental! Im about to dig out the featherweight and go slow for awhile.
So, the coffee is good, the list is growing, the attitude is UP, and only a few things could have been better on the first cuppa today. NEVER go to bed leaving a dirty kitchen!! Its hell to wake up to! Its just awful to put at the top of a new days list eh! chit.
Ponder food: Shaping ones destiny.... hmmmm I shall ponder this today. :::dont even ask me where that came from, it happens.
Anothe tickle: I received an email from a long lost neice last evening! I was so thrilled I nearly couldnt speak! ( NOT). My brother Terry, ( which is a long story and u dont know it) Had the cutest baby girl last time we saw each other. She is now grown and gorgeous and didnt even know she has a couple Aunties over here. How cool is that?
Another tickle: Heather is indeed Preggers and officially excited? Well, I was...lol I was throwing potential fabric all over last night after gawking at the lil sonogram sent to us! Congratulations H Woman, and I'm on it!
One more tickle, can ya stand it? I had a call from a customer Kathy Donelli who did not leave me her number to return the call! The reason for this tickle? She was my first double wedding ring customer, and THAT quilt went into her pattern and has brought much loved attention for Dear Gina services! The lime DWR even went on business cards! Now her son is to get married and we have another one! Trouble is............... NO PHONE NUMBER TO BE FOUND! So Kathy, or anyone who knows her, please tell her I CAN AND WILL do the DWR for you in time! Just call back! I guess in the move, I have miss placed my card files.... well .. no guessing about it.. THEY ARE MIA.
Ok, very late start but the second cuppa was as good as the first, gotta bolt!

M & M's & There She Goes Again!

"A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation
with the bricks others have thrown him."
 David Brinkley
"Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement.
Nothing can be done without hope and confidence."
 Helen Keller

Yes, Dear blog readers I am trying to convince myself!!
Ahuh.... I concour. Sometimes it feels like a good game of Space Invaders and all I can do is duck & dodge, but I refuse to go down. ( ok, well for long).
That widget thing below still has me intrigued. I have been reading posts since 2007, and one thing has occured to me. Life changed. I didnt so much. I mean yes, I have changed with respect to grief and a tad bit of insecurities.. but my core seems to have remained the same. Am I wrong? Or shall I say... is it right?
IMHO I am on target. That firm foundation was put down so long ago, and here I am, riding waves.:::shaking head:::: Ok, enough pondering, I gotta go!
I am off to the valley once again. I'll see my kids, grands, sis & family, and hopefully Moms headstone will be ready.. Not sure, but I'll be stopping to say happy birthday to her anyway. I'll bet everyday is a glorious occasion for her now. I wonder if shes making pies for all the family past. My James being first with his beak open. Wow.. didnt I say enough pondering?
Have a marvelous Monday dear readers... See ya when I see ya:)

M & M's include
* Good friends and week end visits
* A mean Pot O beans
( I hate it when I have to THINK of these things from last week, as opposed to them rolling off my fingers)
*Craigs list
*Root touch up from Clairol...lol
*Cheetah Fabric

I Won't Be Seeing John Mayer in Concert This Year

Pain throws your heart to the ground,
love turns the whole thing around,
no it wont all go the way it should,
but I know the heart of life is good.

John Mayer

Oh you have heard this from me a million times, but guess what... true-er words have never been spoken in my life eh? I cant remember who wrote it on a block on my comfort quilt, but THANK YOU AGAIN, cause its a go to chant for me.

Random Marketing Thoughts

Ok so swelling is down, one WEEK later I feel near human agin. WOW... What a ride! At the top of my list this morning, the quilt shop! Yes! Can she actually stand up for several hours and knock out that loaded King? ( pray)
I have so much work to do in here.. Mercy am I behind. The good news is....I FEEL like it! Its about damn time too! I really miss having a TV in here.. babysitter news talk maybe, I dunno... It shouldnt matter right?
I been thinking.... I have been trying to position myself to open a local quilt shop here, complete with LA services, retreats, classes, of course.. BUT.. In my travels this week, doing some much needed marketing, I am of the mind that I dont need that kind of overhead when I can acheive the same thing right here in my own home. Online, in house... Its a huge space, I am computer savvy... I got skills and a buncha hootspah... what u think? When in a hole, pull a Martha Stewart and expand and diversify? Thinkin on it.... What sparked this is a failing lqs, a thriving lqs, and a new born lqs. The failing is HUGE, outstanding location, and screaming for the likes of me! The thriver ( is that a word?) is filled with happiness and trendy fabrics and notions.. and best of all, Quilters! The newborn lqs, no larger than my master suite, cute as a bugs ear, and not yet on the map so to speak. Starving longarmers all around, ( save a few) and I need a NEW NICHE. Its either that or I have to go back to work in the hospitality industry and I SHUDDER TO THINK THIS.
So... I could write a book as many of you keep yelling for me to do.
I could open an online store, coupled with deargina services.. hosting all kinds of events.
I could stfu and finish 1 of 2 cook books
I could rent out quarters to a travelling nurse and hopefully she quilts on the side.
I could go shopping, cause when the going gets tough the tough DO GO SHOPPING.
I could drag out my resume and cry about that ( too)
I could go find backings for all those UFO's and get em quilted................
I could pour another cuppa and attack my list.
I could go bake a pie.
Mom? I so understand baking a pie alternative. I SO GET YOU.

Pismo Clam = Monarch's Are Home!

"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world
the master calls a butterfly."

– Richard Bach
In my travels today to the devil dentist and 3 local quilt shops for new brochure deliveries... I spied the new painting of the Pismo Clam! Yes, Dear peoples... The Monarchs have arrived!  If you are ever in need of an awesome butterfy viewing, Pismo is the place to do it! I sure hope that all of our grands and faux grands make it down to see... Beautiful creatures they are, and what a wonderful thing to have endured a catapillars life to be rewarded  with beauty and flight. ::SIGH:::
I dont know about all of you, but I see a quilt here! Next Clam painting should be the Shamrock:)
(I forget which ones I've shown you before?)

Marshall's & Weight Loss JUST Out Of Reach

No one is asking about my new freaking fitness routine? Why not??? Might it be because there is so much going on all the flippin time you just FORGOT?
Well! Two things haunt me, escape me, elude me....find words..hmmmm
I am up to 1 -1/2 miles @ 3.2 mph... it takes me about 40 minutes. I spend this time trying to get to the beautiful spring dresses for all my girls at Marhalls which couldnt be more than 1/16th of a mile directly in front of me & this endless rubber band I walk on, but yet........... I never arrive. Then, with a heartrate of OMFG I'm gonna die tonight.... I move to the strength training machines. Now mind you... I have TUNED out all Bambi's around me. I have this ability. I stick in my ipod on louder than loud, and pretend that I am a grown up Bambi and they are all watching my routine because imitation is the best form of flattery you know:)... oh... where was i? The machines!
Geez... First up, 3 sets of 15 on each. I begin with the back extender. Most would think to stretch or improve my old back fracture. NOPE. I go there to lay directly under the fans to whirl my schvitzyness further into my hair and tee shirt neckline. Enough.
Next its the Chest press. I told the guys with no shame at all when I began, my boobs have fallen and they cant get up! He lead me to a machine that seems to be a workout for my back shoulders. I think that Arnold Schwarnegger does this..... OMG
After this I must rest so I move onto the hip thingys... at 40 pounds lift I am to move my legs in and out to burn  the fat off of my hips. One would think this could be erotic, IF I wasnt so schvitzy?  Feeling just a tad bit empowered I am ready to attack the ab cruncher machine. THIS is where my tune out skills faulter. I just know that every eye is watching my rolls go round the rolls... I cant even discuss this inteligently...moving on........
Leg press. OK.. I thought this was pretty easy, until I was told that its really like squats on a wall, only sideways. it didnt hurt until I got home. Never having made it Marshalls mind you!
Remember I told you I had lost 5 pounds? The good news is, I havent gained it back.. the bad news is I never lost more.. not even water weight the lil Bambi told me about.
Weight loss.... escapes me
Marshalls arrival...escapes me....
Everyday I put my big girl panties on and say that I am bound for success today. EVERYDAY.
By noon, I have trouble keeping said panties UP. The bewitching hours are from 4 to 7 PM...  The panties are down around my ankles and I'm considering putting the ole` feed bag on. I usually manage a few pull ups on the panties and make it to the gym. So far, all I have accomplished is looking like a Hot Mess at the 8 pm hour, no spring dresses for my girls from Marshalls, not an ounce slimmer, and those big girl panties?
 Soakin schvitzy!
Ewwwwwwwww

I have always been an Ellen fan, but ..hmmm, not so much in this format? Simon leaving maybe looming over the show?
Gina just not locating her happy place yet?
Who knows... but the show isnt doing it for me, and I'm still watching.
Now 24 on the other hand STILL has me hanging off the side of my chair! I swear I need a xanex to get through this show! But thats another post.

True Religion GENES

When one cries tears, the other tastes salt.

As a pair of "Jackie O's" my Sis and I weathered the storm (like one brick wall) of our Mothers last days. One of the most chilling memories I will forever carry with me. One of many that only Sis and I will share. A lifetime of for our eyes and ears only, no one else has traveled this road. (our road)
I think this didnt really hit me until Mom left us. Theres a bond since the birth of one that lasts a lifetime. I wonder how twins feel?
She and I so different, yet so very much the same.
Our daughters too, and add now my baby grands......so very different, yet share the same genes. Moms genes.
You know those untouchable True Religion Jeans? We got some too.... untouchable True religion Genes:)
Just thinking while going through photos from the last months journey... wierd , wierd, journey. I find it so very odd to see expressions carried down 3 generations, not even shared in person, but still they are present. See below, Mom, vs grandaughter Karen........hmmm....

Yep, True Religion Genes, no monies needed................

Left to right, All dressed in unplanned Animal Prints...lol
Me, kellys daughter Jackie, Kelly ( sis)
Bottom,
my daughter Karen, her daughter Aviana

I wish Lil Jamie was in this picture too... One day..........

As JM wrote, "I'm in repair, I'm not together but I'm geting there".
Man I wish I woulda wrote that myself! LOL, but thanks JM!

Heres another funny Momism passed down...lol

Good Morning!

How can you NOT smile with her? LOLOL

Why can't I WAKE UP LIKE THIS??
No matter, on the first cuppa, this feels pretty darn good to me:)

To Whomever Lets Gossip Rule Their Lives

I DO NOT subscribe to negativitey. There is absolutley no room in my heart for it. Please keep your bad attitudes to yourselves and refrain from reading my blog to justify your gossip. I will not play the game. I DO NOT wish to shut down my blog because of a few unpeaceful idiots. My conscience is clear thanks, so mind your own business please.
The FIRST & LAST post on this subject.

MM-March is Here!

"Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.
The way you cope with it is what makes the difference."

                                                      Virginia Satir

Sounds like Ma telling me that I was dealt a hand of cards, play them the best that I can. She sure loved playing cards...lol Smart Ma, I say.  Heres the only flaw in this theory......... If one PLAYS the hand dealt them, never knowing when to "fold em", one must continue to handle the crap.
Don't fold cause that inside straight is just around the corner!
Dont fold theres another Ace just under the deck!
Dont fold ya gotta PLAY this hand out or you'll never know!
Ma? were ya brilliant or just loving me through it?
Just random first cuppa thoughts.

Good morning:) How was your week end? I tried to get some work done, didnt work out so well for me. I kinda got hung up with Mom stuff.......I didnt fold, I'll be trying again today! LOL
<----Sybil.
I have a busy month planned, and Im shoving more into it as we speak. It's a good plan.

Inspirations ARE There, Go Get 'Em.

So, it occurred to me that if one wants to keep the inspiration torch lit, one must stay with like minded peoples. My peoples. Today I did just that. I visited 2 local quilt shops, picked up a job, called a quilter friend, a quilter friend called me, then I went treadmill-ing a mile and a half next to a lady that quilts, ( who knew?) finally ending my day with the monthly guild meeting where I was warmly welcomed home from a 2 year sabbatical. This fed my spirit for the day and Lord knows I needed it. I was so excited I almost volunteered for everything! ( oh thank God I resisted, you know how that goes). I resumed my position with giving for The Caring Angels, and I had a wonderful time, and I ate a cookie. Grunt.
I would have eaten 2, but I was good and brought it home to Walt. ( bad influence eh?)
I think I have cookie issues. I want one right now. Maybe sugar calls sugar afterall? Ok, I digress.........
On my TO DO list this morning are all things quilty. I even called a Stitch N Bitch day next week and invited fellow bitchers, stichers. Wednesday, write it down, if you show up here, bring me a cookie.
Did you see that sweet girl on the Olympics who lost her Mother too and continued her ice skating performance in honor of her Mother? Another good inspiration, if she can do that, I sure can too!
For those of you that know our Heather, Sarah Bear, you may or may not know of her Step Sons Journey with Cystic Fibrosis. Another horrid disease. This young man, same age as my Son James has just received 2 beautiful disease free lungs and is breathing on his own. BREATHING on his own! I tell you this, because the next time I remind myself to "breath", and I feel that I just CANNOT.... I will think of Josh Mompean, and I WILL. :::thanks Josh:::
While its true that I really have had a BAD couple years....if I seek and find inspiration, I hold onto hope for the next breath, walk, day, week, month, and year.
'Scuse me now while I go eat a cookie create a quilt.
Love yer guts:)

What Went On Last Week? M & M

Woke up, first cuppa in hand... said to myself, "Self? What was going on last week for Marvelous Monday post?".  I'm still thinking on it. I dont think anything went on. Unpacked, laundry, gym every night, save 1, oh! and we shaved to dog! Yep yep yep.. And we were sober! Poor Gin Gin. While I was away her long locks became so matted she was well on her way to poodle dred locs. NOT. I spent a few days scissor cutting and combing, but it was useless. The matts were too deep. Since Sunday was a slow day, Walt and I shaved her down... she looks like Miss Piggy:((  I wonder what wonder food I can give her to make her hair grow faster. Now instead of primping around after her grooming, shes hiding in a fetal position whenever I go looking for her. Poor darn dog. I better get her a warmer sweater, and a new toy... maybe 2. What else? Hmm.
Oh! I found ( in stockton of all places) The perfect Bare root Cherry trees to plant in honor of Mom. I ordered  1 for Sis and Karen too. Mom's cherry fetish carried over to Karen, and these Bings are self fertilizing. Im so excited about this! My Sis, being Gardeness extrodinaire will love it too. Ya put cherries in front of Mom and she will eat them til she makes herself ill! Speaking of................
I think I caught a nasty bug. Kept me up all night and not doing so well this morning. Somethings trying to undermine my Gym nights eh? Not happening. I have a goal, remember? Owwwwwww
I think I will go waddle around figuring out my day. Have a Marvelous Monday Dear Blog Readers..............

* My Ipod to help me get thru the pain.
*A battle Buddy in the Gym
*A leaky washer hanging in there for me:)
*blood pressure meds!
* Plans, plans, plans.
*Mama memories, and cherry trees
*My John Mayer " Heart of Life" tee shirt to remind me.

Put Mama In The Trunk/ RE POST

I came across this story while seaching for a lost recipe... I thought about changing the channel, but it was such a fun time, I could not let it go without reposting.

I love requests! Heathers right, I should do requests! LOLOL

I decided to ask Mom to join me for a Road Trip to Beaver Utah, for a funeral a couple years back. I knew that she wouldn't be excited about going with me, so I sweetened the pot by bribing her with a detour to her sisters home in Las Vegas. Worked beautifully....or so I thought.
What in the world was I thinking starting out in CA, take Highway 80 to Salt lake, down to Beaver, and then shot over to Las Vegas... Piece of cake... MY FOOT! I think it turned out to be 1800 miles one way!! I don't remember now!!!

It began fine, chatting and singing, and gossiping about anyone who wasn't in the car.. (RULES)
Mom was seemingly happy, congenial if you will, but that didn't last very long. She soon began to periodically scold me for my speed. Now, I'm in the salt flats for Pete's sake, and a whistle clean driving record, but somehow I felt like Rainman, trying to convince her that I drive good in the driveway!
Mom is also diabetic, and ever watchful of the food clock. So of course, she spied any eating establishment we past, while watching her watch. (Now who's rainman eh?) I took very good care of her mind you, and I think she truly just needed to gripe a bit. So I thought, why not.... Sometimes, ya just gotta gripe. She was "on one" about a CD that she had forgotten to bring along, and wanted me to find a store to buy this CD.. Who was it.... ::thinkin:::Carmen? Gospel, I know...I'll keep thinking.. but I'm almost sure that's it.. How could I forget?
She wore me down. She made me do it.. made me tell her that if I HAD a trunk, she would surely be in it! ( I had a Road Ranger, no trunk) OMG You would have thought I started WW3. Now the griping turned UGLY....and I was reminded of everything she did for me as a child , including 32 hours of labor and delivery, That time I got my sisters toes caught in the spokes of my bike.... and everything wrong I had ever done as a teenager. What a fun ride.... I laughed alot, and so did she.. we passed the time and it was all a good thing. We had a wonderful hotel stay mid way and the pool relaxed her quite a bit. And.. we found her beloved CD... THE ONLY ONE IN THE CAR ( ahh u are with me eh? THE only one in the car... smooth move..NOT)

Our time in Beaver was pleasant. So good to see family and old friends. I'm sure Mom was delighted daily. However, she was ON THE CLOCK, to get to Las Vegas , to her sisters. In hindsight, I think now that she was in a hurry to get everywhere? Maybe, Home? I got in trouble big time stopping for lunch in St George to see my cousin there... wow... but then she did have good fun gossiping about that side of the family, from St George into Las Vegas.
Finally... She is in her sisters arms, and I feel victorious! They marched hand in hand looking so darn cute from behind, to bingo halls, casinos on the strip, restaurants on every block for 3 days. At which time Mom says to me.. " Gina? I think we need to hit the road.. I need to get home!" Alrighty then Ma.... get in the trunk! ( I got smacked)
Little did I know that there was a huge storm coming in over the Tehachepe mountains...WHILE they were doing road construction, AND... it was getting dark. But hey, I am woman right? I can do this. We had Carmen in the CD player, and that's all we needed.. so said Mom. (her version of Jesus takes the wheel?) Help me......

Mom sang, and prayed aloud while I battled the mountain, the buckets of rain, and the defroster that just wasn't cutting the mustard. My hands were white knuckled and sweaty... but we were going for it! Now Mom wants a hotel, she is tired of fighting this battle... Have you ever seen a hotel either side of Barstow? I couldn't find one, but then again, it was flooding around me. I told her to continue singing, or the trunk was going to be a makeshift reality. She laughed, and sang louder, while she said you damn well better find a hotel Gina. OMG.. she slays me!

No hotel, no restaurants, just falling rocks and water. The windshield wipers full blast, just like the fans and Carmen..... I had to get over the mountain, and that's that. Every once in awhile, I raised my hand to the dashboard, over the defrosting fan, to dry my sweaty palms. Just a little Queens wave to help me keep a grip on the wheel u know? I noticed that Mom was doing the same as me every couple minutes. She continued to sing, and to pray aloud. This Carmen CD was working on my last nerve, and I LIKE gospel tunes!
I finally couldn't TAKE IT ANYMORE, and asked Mom.... "Mom? Why in the heck are you drying your hands like me?" She looked at me, quite seriously, and said "Gina... I thought we were praising the Lord together with a show of our hands raised and waving to our Father?"

I began to laugh until I cried, and then I laughed and cried even more.... She is now so mad at me I think she is fuming out of her ears. I couldn't even stop the car on this mountain, cause I couldn't see through the rain OR the tears!

Finally down... looking for a freeway, she called me a wierdo. (like that's news) I never told her that she was mistaken about my hand over the fan. I couldn't tell her. She KNOWS that God got us over that mountain, and that's that.
Bakersfield was the only thing I could find, a seedy motel, that we weren't happy about, but spent. Mom griped and griped, and I just pulled her into a room... at the door, she spied a poorly dressed female at the top of the stairs, and said OMG GINA, we need to keep praying, I think this is a place for business other than sleeping. I said shhh Mom please don't say anything. She said well, (LOUDLY) "WHAT ARE THEY DOING UP THERE??? I will if they bother me, and you cant stop me." I said Ma.... theres a makeshift trunk, a wet lonely road, and 4 hours to drive home... you choose. She got in the room, blocked the door with a chair, and complained that there was no CD player for Carmen to sing to us.

To this day, Mom tells anyone who listens about Gina wanting to put her Mother in the trunk

To this day I tell anyone who listens that my Mother prayed us over the Tehachepes. Via defrosters.

Side note: She still calls once inwhile to say.... "Gina? ::whining::....I miss our trip we took, Ya done good Buttercup."I roll my eyes and say, you know Ma... me too...

Goals

"The tragedy in life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal.
The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach."
Benjamin Mays

It's a bit difficult, I KNOW, to try to set goals, think positive, BE happy when I'm feeling grief, (cause grief seems to be my middle name eh) but without this, IMHO, I would surley perrish. I realize that I am more scatter brained than usual, and it not easy to even REACH a small goal. I keep making goals, and scratching them out making new ones just as fast. But at least I'm still making them. So I guess the above quote COUNTS for me.
I have lost 5 pounds and my energy levels are up. 1/4th of the way to health goal number 1. ( woohoo!) The hard part is not playing the records in my head that undermine my attitude. Records of missing my James so much I ache constantly, or not hearing a "ya done good Buttercup" from Ma. I clic the remote channels so much its just ridiculous. Mufasa says that I am a very strong woman, I say I am a faker. We both agree that I fake it til I make it, and the perception is strength.
Today my goal is to make it to the gym, so I can flip thru my new quilt magazine on the treadmill while faking the fact that I am in no pain. grunt. I took yesterday off to heal, as my "heels" are barking loudly!
I am happy that I am a goal setter, I just wish I could reach more these days.

Great Customers

I have mentioned time and time again how wonderful my chosen profession is eh? THEE best community in the world. From Family and friends, to colleagues and computer associates.. Customers and Quilt shop owners. I am truly among the Olympians of professions. The best one being my hugest fan Mufasa...I dunno how he deals with my wierdness of late. Anyway.... My customers have not only waited for me, but care about me and mine too. I am so blessed I tell ya. So very blessed. I am working hard to get back to working hard. Make sense? I think today may be the day. Getting the house back in order, all calls returned, appointments made. SHEESH what a chore. Did I tell you that my Ginny got matted over this last journey of mine? Yep yep yep... Shes going for dreadlocs now.. ( on list, call groomer, shave her down!)  Oh crap I didnt unpack the last suitcase... wheres the list?
On the Gym front:  Oh Lord I am in PAIN! There, I've said it.  There isnt a muscle in my body that isnt screaming for a hot tub. :::put on list of goals to save for:::  I must tell you that this couldnt have been better timed. The winter Olympics are on daily and an awesome inspiration! I hear all the stories and tell myself to stop whining!! Isnt it funny how we want instant gratification and it just doesnt happen in weight loss? It took me a decade to get HERE... back HERE. I figure this may be my last shot at it... Soon I wont be able to do those darn excercises. Although, you wouldnt believe the seniors in the fitness club absolutley DUSTING me on everything! Really embarrassing too. It's one thing to see a 20 something year old "Bambi" running with a glow, next to my schvitzy liesure walk, or using the HAMMER ab crunch while I try to get the belly bar over my belly on the baby ab machine... but I feel about 3 inches tall next to the lil old lady pressing 75 pounds on the pectoral fly at lightning speed next to my lil knee Squezzer. GRUNT.
Now as you can see I am trying to share here... not be chicken little... I know theres a chance of failure... I dont see that.. but hey.. I have learned never to say never! So just smile and pray for me... you can even cheer me on. ::::PLZ::: Just dont beat me up too bad when I discuss that bag of Cheetos in the cupboard. Gawd I didnt really say that did I?
Ok, I'm off.. I'm running....lol BS, I'm just off!

A Cherished Memory In My Hands

Well....I'm in the studio today. I have unpacked Ma's Sewing baskets while Walt re assembled her sewing desk and aged old stool that she and Dad made for the Motorcycle shop days. I do have her last industrial machine ( Consew) But her personal domestics are far more...well??? Personal? I cant tell you the times as a child I loved sitting at this stool pretending to be Mom. My daughter too would hide things in the seat cushion. ( lifts to store tools) The top is made of brown naugahyde, and it has been recovered by Mom from a harley Davidson orange! WOW! Mom herself hid things in there from us, but .... too bad Ma, I always knew where to look first. ( IE: term of endearment, NOSEY) The stool certainly wasnt built for comfort, but for posture. I am middle aged and still hear Mom scolding me to sit up straight! Suffice to say that this stool alone holds many memories and I intend on making a few more for her with my grand girls. Last evening I hemmed my brand new pair of Gym pants sitting here. It wasnt easy, however it wasnt hard. I am amazed at how different my emotions, grief is evolving from my Munz, to my Mom. CLIC
This is her last work in progress. A quilt for someone. I wish I knew who. Funny its all done in lilacs...and so were her services. 36 blocks so far, and many more in the basket to be done. Maybe for herself? She never told me.::grunt::  I wonder if the quilt police would come and get me if I were to alternate these blocks with her favorite tee shirts into 2 quilts for Sis and me? Any thoughts Ronda? Maybe just finish her own plan, in her honor. Maybe for Dad?? Not sure. Me...ha! The one who STILL cannot dig out all of James beloved TEES to make quilts from. Okay, I need to move my behind here... literally. I have an appointment with a personal trainer at the gym today. I feel like I am auditioning for the biggest loser show. 7 weeks to spring break! Woohoo!! Walt and I went last night and damn near kilt ourselves on the equipment. It was kinda funny really...kinda funny until I did 3 whole pulls on the Hammer strength ab cruncher machine. OMFG!!! Who invented that? Evil sucker. I would dearly love to blog about this new journey we are embarking on, however I am chickenshit to do so, for failures sake. I gotta tell you though, nothing like watching a disease eat a life away to scare the bejeezers out of you.me. We shall see how brave I can become. Have a great hump day, I am gonna give it hell trying:)

TOO Much For A Tuesday

It's 7:00 AM, Do you know where YOUR gym clothes are? I am too overwhelmed, too sad, too confuddled, too asleep... just TOO, to get to the gym yet:( ( stomping my feet inside my head). How do I do this?
I hunted and gathered for the last half hour. I've got the list pad, the coffee, the pen, the news on, computer up....chit. :::I would love one more "down day".
On my list is to unpack the car contents. omg... a mess itself. I brought home Mom's sewing basket and it holds her last WIP ( work in progress). Its her last quilt top, embroidered... and I'm afraid to look at it, touch it, and yep...finish it for her. But I will.
Oh shoot... Ill be back to edit with a pic when I can....

For now please enjoy with me our Mothers song for her slide show presentation.... Sajina.. it means MY BELOVED   (Hindu)
I will get my GO TO GUY to show you her slideshow when I ( he) can.

I gotta change the channel...CLIC

Ya Cant Have The Dream Without The Drive, M & M's

Panic hasnt set in yet because I feel mch like a dish rag! I got home on Valentines Evening to a warm welcoming from Mufasa, Ginny and Rudy. All lonesome and patiently waiting. As expected I am still lounging around catching up on emails, messages, facebook and winter Olympics! Seems like everytime my mind wanders to "what do I do first?" I quickly divert my attention back to lounging..lol. :::Bad girl:::
I have been MIA round here 5 weeks, save 1. Mind boggling. I have a non stop absent minded urge to pick up the phone and call Ma to tell her that I made it home ok, as I always have. My Sis suggested that I call Dad, but it just wouldnt be the same would it? Grunt.
Hows blog land? Whats everyone been busy with? Thanks so much for all of your comments, prayers, well wishes and emails. Its very nice to go back and re read over and over again.
I am planning my own personal Bucket List. Mine wont be by the time I kick the bucket, mine will be how much I can STUFF in a bucket each year. Maybe I should create a real bucket and begin filling it... hmmmmmm.
Since 2010 is breathing down my neck, I got out the clipboard. hey! We can call it the Bucket board! okay!
First on the list is to get back to my own DQL ( daily quality of life) Remember those days?  Seems like a wierd journey ago dear blog readers... a long time ago. OK... DQL... Fit in my fifties? I'll take it. Walt being ever so supportive of the Pied Pipper Plans bought a membership to a local Gym for Valentines....kinda funny eh? Kinda nice:) He worries about me too. I'm very nervous about it. To be honest.. the last time I did this, was fit at 40 and one of the hardest things I ever did. It changed my entire life. Not sure if I can A: do it all again, B: do it correctly this time, C: Stay fit cause theres no fit at 60 cute sayings. Via Con Dios eh?
I am making plans for a few trips as well...the big one being to get back on the horse so to speak and get to Montreal, get to Blima. I must tell you that I've not been able to stray far from home since the Hawaii trip. Its something that must be done, I feel I'm doomed to squash my own travel dreams, if I do not. Jamie too, was a happy travelor and would not cotton to my homebodyness of late.:::clic:::
I am off to check on my crazy facebook things.. Have a Marvelous Monday:)

* A beautiful Service honoring our Mother
* A great family
* Safe driving home without too many melt downs
* Happy homecoming
*Having a much needed FLYBY visit with Heather

Marvelous Monday and Mom Continued

Yes, I am still away from home in Auburn with several family members now. Most importantly, Mom. One could say that I am gaining experiance in death. Why would one want to? Three now to my witness, and all of them unique. Is this how we decide how WE want to leave this world? By experiance? Sorry for all the questions. I am a curious one you know.
My Mother is in my Sisters family home. Her room is now lined floor to ceiling with family photos. There are flowers, balloons, a family bible, a book to read to her if you like. Photographs of her already passed Mother, brother, and grandson, sit clearly in her view. Her bed is draped with a handmade quilt that up until this week she fondled a lot.She wears a frilly V necked white gown, and a sparkling gold cross around her neck. Her hair is a bit deshevled, but fluffy and pretty. Her nails long, red and perfectly round.  Family and friends come in and out to sit with her. Her daughters, husband and grands crawl in bed with her periodically taking turns loving her up.THIS, I'm sure brings her comfort.
Mom is very close to the balance of physical meets spiritual worlds now, and will pass at any time. She is in no pain and is quite peaceful. Responsive only a few times today, to tell one of us that she loves us. For me personally, just before this post, was to tell me with all the strength she could muster. "I'll be with you". Now this, has given me the same peace. Someone to take care of my James, and still be with me, is all the peace that I need tonight.
We'll be in touch.

Marvelous Monday's will be:

* A strong family
* A peaceful passing for Mom

Marvelous Mondays & Mom :)

Mornin'! First let me say that Mom is holding her own, not in too much pain ( thanks Morphine) & eating a little bit. We successfully moved them again yesterday into my sisters home. They have a cute lil suite with thier bed and recliners, TV and tables, all the family pictures and Kincaides we could fit in there too. We are in hope that it is familiar to them "enough" to be comfortable. Now remember that we JUST moved them from the family home to the apartment 6 months ago. Now, poor things are moving again. This is no easy ride. We also wish that John were here to run interferance with Dad. He is the most non compliant, simply because he is( understandably) nervous.  I snapped a pic this morning, they didnt even hear me. OR THE CABLE GUYS!  Sharon? Look where our quilt is:) She loves it!
Today we will finish emptying the apartment and make it ready for inspection. I think I'm too old for this furniture hucking , moving crap. grunt. Sigh...and about 100 different other things. I told Kel to make a list. She is ( as we speak) having a MANIC Monday as opposed to a Marvelous one. I figure since I taught her the HA HA Yoga routine, I may as well keep going with M & M routine! LOL  However comical it is to see her in action, its also maddening.
::side note:: I waitied to leave until the rain stopped. Walt says its beautiful sun again........GUESS what I came into? You guessed it MORE RAIN! Non stop here. Ever try to move in the rain? Grrrrrr
Have a Marvelous Monday Dear Blog Readers. Rememeber to whisper prayers for Mom and also Josh ( Heather & Kims Boy) He is patiently waiting for a double lung transplant. I will get the link form H and put it here too. I have my poor lil Prayer parrots beak stuffed full now... I know it will help as there is strength in numbers and power in prayer.

M & M's include:

*Walt keeping the home fires burning while I work here.
* My Day Planner! OMG What would I do without my lists!
* Blima working on vacation plans cause I cant!
*Quilt work continuing to come in so I am not totaly broke!
* A comfy bed here at Sis house!
*A binding job to keep my hands busy late at night:)
*Pic sent from Aviana of her new pet! ( pics maybe tomorrow when I have a chance!)

Let's Just Google It!

I also have first cuppa at my Sis house:) I see that Sheena does too! LOL I'll proboby get all kinds of static for posting this morning picture but I figure I've gotten static before right? I can't remember when the routine changed from morning newspaper to morning Facebook. Can you? The truth is that I get WAY more news than ever before now, and the best part is that its MY choices.
The sun came out, rain stopped. I have no idea how flooded we are but  I am heading back to Kelly's today although Sheena wont be there. I wonder if I can get another photo like this with sis in it? LOL
Maybe I will just snap a few of Mama? She doesnt look like her anymore:( . I dont think DQL is too great either.

My Siblings think I'm nutz. well... okay... but not about this. I trained them all in HA HA yoga while we were all being traumatized by Moms hospital stay. I tried to share with them a simple excercise to promote good spirit health. I DID THIS WITHOUT WINE!

So as you can see dear siblings, I'm NOT making this up! it works!

Long before it had any names, I have been self healing through laughter. Ya wanna quickie cheer up? Put in a comedy movie and LMAO.
No movie available? Make a face and LMAO!! Fake some Ha Ha's! (not to be confused with HO Ho's!)
Come on, it isnt rocket science right? If you are blue, would you grab a bottle of wine and stick in a Michael Bolton CD? Hell no! Not unless you want to dive deep into the PIT of blues.
Many people ask me how I "change the channels" on the videos in my mind. My heart. My broken broken heart...... It is laughter peoples. Sometimes, fake it til u make it.......laughter. Understand, I cannot Always accomplish my goal. Sometimes I go down and I cant get up for awhile. Yep, it happens.
Ahhh, something just occurred to me. I have given that to my crazy kids! Yes! They are all as nutty as I am! When the going gets tough, you can count on one of them to crack you up! One of Jamies favorite Youtubes is that old guy advertising for 6 Flags Theme park. Hysterical laughter we made watching him imitate this guy. He sent me new you tubes everytime they came out and as I watched, we chatted and laughed. I think the most sobersides of all would be Jake. He has his Dad's "prove it to me smile". He does, however, succumb to the laughter after awhile. It just isnt on the tip of his tongue as it is for the rest of us. Even Karens hubby, a total HAHA kinda guy. Now the grands?.. Yep, Aviana cheezz will start the whole HA HA in an instant. Justin too begins to dance like his Uncle and will make everyone laugh.Ok, so I'm all off track now.
I'm going to go laugh about something. Maybe it will stop the rain, or at least make it a tad bit more doable. My last good HAHA was watching "The Hangover". TWICE... LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO

PS: Look what I JUST did I just had my first smiling memory of my sweet baby james, and I didnt fall down crying. Good Lord theres hope for me yet. And YOU PEOPLES were there!! LOLOL
<---nutbar, yes I know....:::walking off shaking my head::::

Fun Family Fotos

I decided to have coffee with John & Sheena this morning, via photos...lol Wanna see? I have a few ready to roll. Know what? I am so spoiled with Heathers beautiful photography that my own... well..... I dont want to get graphic on the first cuppa so I'll just say that I want H wherever I go:) LOL

On a day trip to Cambria, Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals, etc.... I got such a tickle watching my brother ENJOY a shopping experiance in one of my favorite hot spots in Cambria. He bought gifts for all! A new outfit for Sheena, a Yummy jacket for Kellys birthday, and these sandals that the RAIN WONT LET ME WEAR!!!! ( yes, Im so anxious that I put thewm on this morning to wear round the house! Arent they incredible?? I MUST find the perfect outfit, thanks again J & S!

Heres one taken at Morbid Bay, I mean Morro! Shoot.. did I say that?

Of course theres quilt content! What you thinking??? Sheena had her first lesson and sprang into action! I think she is a natural. Not sure if the Gammil inspired her, or was it the new expected grand baby on the way? Hmmmmmm At any rate, she PPP'd on this piece and I'm happy that it will always be her first:) YOU GO GIRL!

On Kelly's birthday we dined at one of her favorites in Folsom. Scotty's Seafood. My daughter and grand joined us, and we all missed having Mom there too.

Missing from this pic... Ma :( Oh how I wish for it to include Lil Jamie & Steph too. I have decided that I will be saving up for a mini face lift so that I wont always look like the oldest in the bunch. GRUNT.

OK.. I will find another camera chip for more soon... but for now I must go make lists as they are running through my head as we chat. I forget easily you know!

Lets see,
laundry,
pack for Sac
brush the dog
quilt the quilt
bind the quilt
bill the customer
do the dishes I was too lazy to do last night
make my list of calls
call the calls
left overs for dinner...

shoot... what else? Grunt. See!

Hasta!

M & M's On A Tuesday?

Why not? I was on a holiday yesterday? I was stuck on Facebook games? I was making soups to leave Walt next week?
Choose your own adventure says I..................

Mornin'. This should be interesting... clipboard on my right, coffee on my left, keyboard on my lap. Gitterdone says I..............
5 AM was an owie this morning. I woke up to a slight panic attack to finish cooking, make a list of To Do;s... and listening to Haiti news. Do you remember when I used to be forever glued to the news channels be it TV or Streaming Internet? I do too. Not so much now. I mean since we lost Jamie. Its not that it doesnt matter, its just not so all fire important as my own life. How selfish is that???????? grunt.
Mom is holding her own with Sis and family. She doesnt want anything but her bed. I need to be there. I am waiting on a few quilt jobs and then I'm off again. It is giving me time to make Walt a few dishes for the freezer. Today I will do the Italian sausage & tortellini soup.. last night Butternut squash soup and a rack of ribs. I should do some cookies eh? Im not sure he is doing well himself. One day he looks stronger, then the next I see weight loss and gauntness again. I swear to Buddha I live in constant fear of the death of another loved one. Its no way to live I tell you. They tell me its normal...pppffft. It isnt the kind of normal I seek. CLIC
Know whats a bit difficult in the past 2 years? Marvelous Monday posts! I know!! But having made the commitment to write them, I must try, and it MAKES me reflect on the weeks positiveness. Its hard!!! I can remember when I had to KEEP it down to 7 entries, and believe me, I struggle for that same 7 now. I must tell you that it helps. Something so simple minded actually helps. I hope that some of you people try it too.

Marvelous Mondays include:
* Being able to catch AI premiere for it made us all laugh and we needed that.( pants on the ground! LOL)
*Having the help of our big brother if only for a short time.
*A safe drive home and arriving before the storms hit.
*My kids & grands coming to be with us at grams side.
*Jake safely arriving back in Idaho working in the snow and ice.. omG please protect him.
*ONE underwear day, I'll take it!
*A wonderful shop to greet me as work resumes.

OK, I'm blogged up, coffee'd up and on my way to attack the clipboard. its 2 pages!!!! WTH???? I havent forgotten pictures to show you, its on the list, but a quilt awaits my attention!

Sunday, Official Underwear Day

So I am here, first cuppa in hand, feeling like a rag mop, wondering how in the world do I blog everything that has happened since I fell off the radar map. Lets see if we can find the beginning.........
Ah yes, the siblings were coming! They came, we had a VERY nice couple of days here at home. And then trouble was brewing at sis hometown ( Auburn) so we left. Here's where the blurr comes in. First let me say that as soon as we went over the hills leaving sunshine and heat for fog and scary trees, I KNEW we weren't in Kansas anymore. GRUNT. I have always intensely disliked the 3 months of YUK in the valley, but its always worse now when I travel back into it.
I had planned to have a great time with John, Sheena and Kelly, then do my bus Mom thing for Road to California. It didn't work out so well now did it? I had to cancel the trip, cancel the fun, cancel it all as our Mom fell very ill and has been in the hospital since last we chatted.
Mom has since been released to my sisters care to live out life's winter days as comfortable as possible. Her petite lil body can take no more of the cancer that is raging inside of her. Hmmm... while typing I have decided that I cannot do it.. I cannot even type it. I'm sure you can understand how its difficult for me to face a near repeat of the worst time of my life, so I wont push it here. No matter the way it happens, or to whom, it isn't an easy journey. I do find it most peculiar how I can look back through the years with Mom and smile about things. I guess a full life really is to be celebrated... I shall ponder this.
My sis and I talk a great deal about how we so enjoyed time with our brother, and wish that we had had many memories with him too. Not to whine about it, as we will make some now. However, it would have been nice. Why it always comes back to the hand of cards dealt to us, and how we play them, I'll never figure out.
Our Dad did well through the week and it was more than noticeable how he too enjoyed John & Sheena. I am not sure how much he understands about Mom, that sure wont be easy either.
I will be home for a few days, then travel back to Mom. I dont know how this will go down, so stay tuned? Its really been "Ground Hogs Day" for a week or so. Its good to be home in my own bed. Walt said that I looked a little different, and I cocked my head to one side to ask why.. then decided that I KNEW why. Our fur & feathered Kids sure missed me. Ginger has been on my lap and Rudy on my shoulder since I came in. I think I need a few more of em, what do you think? I WANNA Mini DOODLE!
I got to spend a few hours sharing a meal with my BFF Heather... geez I miss her already. She too is having a family crisis, tragedy, world rocking event. Their boy Josh is in the hospital battling Cystic Fibrosis and he needs lung transplants. My heart breaks for that family as memories creep past. Josh is so full of life and only 26. Please whisper his name in your prayers too.
Well thanks for the coffee chat peoples! I am going to go unload the trunk I have been living out of. I will keep ya posted, and try to find the camera for a few pics too.
Big thank yous to my caring blog readers who sent notes looking for me!!
Love yer guts!

Those of you who also follow facebook, you can see that my new profile picture has me leaning on a shoulder. Its Jakes shoulder, and Heather thanks for another treasure:)

Busy Week!

My siblings are coming! My siblings are coming! Yep yep yep.... Kelly will be joining me to motor over to Santa Barbara to pick up John & Sheena from Alaska! I have my clipboard and we are in for a busy week! I have included a Hearst Castle day, a beach night, and Mexican food night, and a wild poker game! I wish Mom was in on THAT one:) This will be the first time I get to meet our sis in law Sheena. I am looking forward to this! Boy, is she in for a treat as she is a fellow quilter! Oh wait! I know the REAL TREAT! 70 degrees here as opposed to Alaskan dark cold! Woohoo! I wish Blima would snowbird and get out of that Montreal freeze. ( Oh, I got off track there too eh?) We hope to have a lil spring break with them in April. As I said yesterday, I am MAKING PLANS to MAKE PLANS this year. Find my bliss and bliss will find me? Whatever works.
I dont have a picture on hand of brother, but if you will remember from 2 years ago blogabout, we just met him! Kelly and I both agree that its nice to have a big brother. 2010 Pondering

The official new year begins when school resumes eh Moms? Now, I dont have school age kids, but I do have thier teacher! It makes me consider 2010. Its strange to even type that. I will be making plans throughout the year to keep myself focussed. There are so many things I would like to do it will be interesting to see which actually happened. Plans like getting to Montreal and a roadtrip with Blim... A family Christmas vacation untraditional. ( I know, shocker). MQS, Spring break, Oregon visit, adding a new family member, organizing photographs and fabrics..lol SO MANY THINGS! There is one I need more than anything, and I will begin next month.
I do not believe that I have properly grieved for the loss of my son. I need to work on that, for me, for mine. How might I do this you ask? Well.... Dragging out all of his clothes and making those quilts may be a good jumping off point. I have hauled them everywhere, covetting them as if I could be bringing him with me these last 2 years. Its not healthy the way I think, all to myself. Things that I see, hear, and even sometimes do. I wont get into my mentalness, but it has become clear to me that this woman needs more work. I NEED to get to a point where "they say" a smile comes with a mental memory of Jamie. Not tears, fears, and a plethera of emotions that rattle around inside me. This would scare anyone to read, so I will remain a bit evasive. Suffice to say that I see it, admit it, and will address it. I dont think that a family photo shoot in a cemetary would be a good idea, or happen anytime soon, so I will channel my thoughts in a different direction. I know that I have said this for nearly 2 years, and truth is, I will continue to say until it works! I shared with a friend that the last 2 years has seemed like some kind of purgatory of my own. Or 2 years of hell, masked by the tears of a clown.
There hasnt been a book, a song, a prayer, a chat, not a damn thing to get me through this. Is it because I havent done it myself? But I have! I have reached out, grabbed onto, changed things up, done all humanly possible, and still I have no peace. This Im sure you know isnt too good for a happy ass person that I USED to be!
I have no idea why I am rambling on this morning. Good coffee? Alone with thoughts? Heels of yet another horrid dream? ( yes, they are still here). I am still hopeful, optimistic, and will forge on. You poor blog readers who endure...lol thanks for listening, and when you ask me, I will say that I really AM OKAY. Okay? Maybe the quilt constructing will do the trick.
