A Bittersweet Marvelous Monday

Ruth Coble
March 17, 1927- February 7, 2010

At the age of 83 Mom was welcomed into heaven after a courageous battle with Cancer. Residing in Auburn California, Ruth was a happy homemaker and in years past a seamstress by trade. She enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing, and playing poker or Rummy with her grandchildren. She and her husband enjoyed RVing and treasure hunting. Her hobbies included Movie Nights, Bingo and never met a restaurant she did not like. Among her favorite times were the trips to Disneyland and most memorable being the Holy land tour to Israel with Pastor Glen Cole and friends.

Born in Pueblo Colorado, where she spent her childhood years, the family then relocated to the Los Angeles area and eventually raised her family in Northern California.
Survived by her loving husband George Coble, devoted daughters Kelly McAdams,(Pat) Gina Vickrey,(Walt) Sons Terry Sandoval, Michael Sandoval, step son John Coble,(Sheena).
Her surviving grandchildren, Karen Serna,(Art) Jake Levin,(Stephanie) Julie Vickrey

 Kelly Lee (Kathie) Matt McAdams, Jaclyn Mcadams, Jonathan Sandoval, Nicole Sandoval.
Great Grandchildren, Justin, Daniel, Aviana, Shawn, Jamie, Emily,Jack
Ruth’s Surviving Sisters include Olive Perry, Delores Campos, Mary Gonzales, Patsy Sierra (Darrell).
Surviving Brothers, Alfonso Gonzales, John Gonzalez, Augustine Gonzales, (Esther)

*Preceded her in death was her son Lawrence Sandoval, Grandson James Levin, Brother Smiles Gonzales 
Nephew, David Gonzales.

Mom, your love, wisdom and grace will be with us always. Enjoy eternal happiness with our Father and save a seat for us. (Love up on my James too)

Gina, so glad you were able to spend time with her as the end drew near. You had a wonderful mother, and she had wonderful kids! You have all been blessed having each other in your lives. I know she will be missed. We had wonderful laughs and stories after our mom died. It certainly helped us all to deal with her passing...we still miss her everyday!

Reading about your mom brings the movie Secondhand Lions to mind and a comment made in that movie.

Your mom truly lived!

And now she will live on in your memories and through each and every one of you.

She had to have been a wonderful woman! Just take a look in the mirror at her daughter! You are an awesome lady!
